About Letters of Faith Through the Seasons
I have created this blog as an aide to my daily devotions. I will attempt to update it as frequently as possible but I do have a life and run three other blogs (which seems to contradict the first statement).
The posts are reflections on the letters and passages found in the book Letters of Faith Through the Seasons: A Treasury of Great Christian Correspondence that was compiled and edited by James M. Houston. I was fortunate enough to be at the release and book signing with Houston and found that his passion for its content has inspired me to try and make the letters a daily part of my life and devotions. The two volumes can be found here: Letters of Faith Through the Seasons: A Treasury of Great Christian Correspondence Volume 1: December through May and Volume 2: June through November. The title of each post indicates who has written that day’s letter.
The seasons covered in Volume 1: Advent, Christmas, Epiphany, Lent, and Easter.
As I have implied, I am a Christian who attempts to be as devout as I can. My thoughts on various issues (especially theology, but also photography, daily life, politics, social commentary, and literature… among other topics) can be found at my main blog: Matt Jones’ Random Acts of Verbiage. I can also be found blogging at Matt Jones Photography (my photo blog) and Matt’s Wikimapia Blog. I am pretty much all over the internet and can also be found at Flickr, Vox, del.icio.us, MySpace, Facebook, and other various sites. Please feel free to visit, comment, and say hi!
